Our founding trustees
Four founding trustees have agreed to oversee GAP Education's development: Shaheen Akhtar (Chair), Abdul Ghafoor Ajaib (Deputy Chair), Mohammed Hakeem (Treasurer) and Gulnaz Akhtar (Safeguarding Trustee Lead). Meet the board.
Why we are starting with families
Parents and carers are the first and most important source of support in a child's life. By starting with GAP Families, we can listen to families before we design support for young people, and make sure everything we build responds to what Bradford families actually need. Read about GAP Families.
Help shape GAP Families
We are looking for parents and carers who would like to share their experiences and ideas as we design Chai & Chat and our six-week parent course. Email hello@gapeducation.org.uk to register your interest. Registering interest is not enrolment on a programme.
